The Jaguar F-TYPE is a high-performance two-seat sports car, available in either a convertible or coupe design that truly makes every trip around East Bay feel distinct and special. While it retains much of the exhilarating performance, advanced technology, and elegant style you’ve come to expect from this name, the 2024 model also offers a few new options.
To celebrate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary, the F-TYPE is receiving two new special editions, the F-TYPE 75 and F-TYPE R-75. Both editions come with unique badges on the front fender, special gloss black 20-inch wheels; quad outboard exhausts; stainless steel tread plates; lightweight, high-performance slimline seats; ambient interior lighting; aluminum die-casting rear knuckles; and a Giola Green metallic paint option.
Both editions also feature an adaptive dynamics system that automatically adjusts performance for greater handling and control on the streets of San Ramon.
However, the R-75 is the only trim in the lineup that features an exclusive supercharged 5.0L V8 engine with 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, which enables it to achieve a top speed of 186 MPH and zero to 60 MPH acceleration in approximately 3.5 seconds. That is some impressive performance across Pleasanton.
By comparison, the next best engine option on the F-TYPE 75 delivers 444 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, which is good for a top speed of 177 MPH and zero to 60 MPH acceleration in 4.4 seconds.
